Providing assistance to the less fortunate and marginalized groups in the Kyiv region is a central part of IWCK charity activities. IWCK conducts annual Grant Competitions, issuing over USD 100,000 per year in funding, to support organizations working directly with IWCK target beneficiary groups: the elderly, disabled, children and women. The Holiday Charity Bazaar, held in December each year, is IWCK’s major fund-raising event each year, with proceeds from the bazaar used to support these initiatives. If you are interested in becoming involved with any of our grantees, or need further information, please contact the designated IWCK Project Monitor, or one of the Charity Coordinators. Grant applications must be submitted to IWCK by 15.00h on January 31, 2008. . Each organization need only choose 1 informational session to attend. They will all contain the sаme information and sign-up is limited to 20 people per session. IWCK staff/members will NOT be available to answer any questions regarding the grants competition other than at the information msessions. Additionally, if you are interested in joining the Charity Group, meetings are held every two weeks.
