IWCK holds various events each year in order to finance its charitable activities, as well as to lend its support to Ukraine’s cultural scene. IWCK events also give the international community in Kyiv the chance to meet. Only the events noted are officially sponsored by IWCK. The main events in 2006-2007 are:

THE HOLIDAY CHARITY BAZAAR in December

THE SPRING BALL in April

HOLIDAY CHARITY BAZAAR – December. Held early in December each year, this very colourful event is IWCK’s major fund-raiser. Some 30 embassies set up stalls, bringing goods and delicious food offerings from their home countries. This is an ideal place for Christmas shopping while getting into the festive spirit.

IWCK also have their own stalls, including crafts, tombola, raffle and White Elephant, so there are many opportunities for volunteers to become involved.

The 2007 Bazaar was a great success and raised over USD 150,000.
