IWCK Charity Committee / 2010 Grantees

The International Women's Club of Kyiv (IWCK) is seeking applications to its annual competitive grant program. Grants will be awarded to projects that will improve the quality of life for women, children, the elderly, and the disabled in Kyiv. 

The deadline for grant applications is Thursday, February 4, 2010. Awards will be announced in April of 2010. Grant application materials can be downloaded from

Benevolent Society Golosievo for support of rehabilitation services for mentally disabled children and adults

Charitable Fund "Aspern" to support necessary reconstruction to a vocational training center for at-risk children and teenagers

Charitable Fund of Elena Petrusevich  for support of Horse Is Our Healer, a therapeutic riding program for the physically disabled

Charitable Organization "Down Syndrome" to launch a developmental center for people with Down Syndrome and their families.

Child Rescue to support necessary reconstruction to a sports center for street children and at-risk children

Childhood Cancer Foundation "Crab" for supplies for the "Art-Studio" therapy program for patients of the children's oncology department of the National Institute of Carcinoma

Community of Saint Egidio for support of programs that provide food and medical supplies for the homeless and the elderly

German Youth Cultural Center "Deutsche Quelle" to develop a sports plot for mentally disabled children and orphans at the Darnitsya Children's Home

Heart, Don't Sleep & the International Organization for Migration (IOM)  to support a counter-human trafficking public awareness campaign titled Human Life Is Not For Sale

IEF "LIKAR.INFUND" for medical equipment for pediatric patients of the Chernobyl Victims Radiology Center

Jewish Charitable Fund Hesed for medical equipment for elderly diabetic patients

Public Organization "Family" to construct a needs-appropriate playground for mentally and physically disabled children

Rozrada to provide training and technical assistance to victims of domestic violence or to women seeking employment/self sufficiency during the economic crisis

Society of St. Vincent de Paul to provide food for poor and orphaned patients of the Pediatric Aids Clinic

Ukrainian Women's Fund for training and workshops for at-risk teenaged girls

Vector for medical equipment for residents of a Left bank hospice program
